Stockholm International Airport
Information and help desks The airport information desks (tel: 8 797 61 00) are located in Terminals 2, 4 and 5; the desks in Terminals 2 and 5 are open 24 hours a day.
Airport Facilities The airport has two banks and ATMs in Terminals 2, 4 and 5 and in SkyCity. There is a currency exchange bureau in Terminal 2, several in Terminal 5 and one in SkyCity. A doctor's surgery (open 0800-1700) and a post office (open 0830-1800) are in SkyCity. A pharmacy is open 0700-2030. The airport has many restaurants and bars throughout the Terminals, plenty of shops including duty-free, and a fitness centre.
Disabled Facilities Text phones are available in SkyCity and in Terminals 2 and 4, and lifts and wheelchair-accessible toilets are in all Terminals. Disabled travellers can reserve special services in advance through their airline or when checking in (for information on the airport's service, tel: 8 797 61 14).
Business Facilities Telephones can be found in all Terminals and SkyCity, faxes in Terminals 2, 4 and 5, PC workstations in Terminals 2 and 4, internet connections in Terminals 4 and 5 and piers A and B, and business facilities are also available in the airport's and airlines' VIP lounges around the Terminals. The airport offers conference facilities for up to 700 delegates plus offices and exhibition halls for up to 1000 visitors (tel: 8 797 6200).
Car Rental Rental companies include Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz.
Car Parking Parking is available at multi-storey and outdoor car parks with direct access to the Terminals, and also below SkyCity. For long-term parking: a car park further away from the Terminals offers lower rates and is served by the free no. 14 shuttle bus. Disabled spaces are available at all car parks except underneath SkyCity, at long term parking rates, but travellers are asked to check with the car park attendant that their disability ID is valid.
Driving Directions From Stockholm, take the E-4 north to Arlanda.
Public Transport & Taxis Taxis (tel: 8 600 1000) run from directly outside the Terminals; luxury taxis can be booked via the airport's taxi commissionaire. The airport has three rail stations: one under SkyCity, for long-distance destinations including Trondheim and Göteborg, and two (one under Terminal 5 and one with exits to Terminals 2, 3 and 4) for frequent express trains to Stockholm. Arlanda Express trains (tel: 8 58 88 90 00) run 0505-0035, every 15 minutes at peak times (journey time: 20 minutes). In addition, SJ Trainbus and public bus 583 provide bus connections to Märsta station, one stop north of Stockholm Central station, which is also served by InterCity and X2000 trains. There are bus stations outside Terminals 2, 4 and 5. Buses to Stockholm City Terminal run 0640-2305 daily (journey time: 45 minutes), every five to ten minutes at peak times, and buses are also available to many other destinations.
