BAA has invested £30 million in making Southampton Airport one of Europe's most modern regional airports. This includes a new duty and tax free shop, World Duty Free, three times the size of the former outlet, with a far greater range of goods. The airport has a business lounge for British Airways, and Scot Airways' frequent flyers and has introduced electronic ticketing, in co-operation with British Airways.
