Day Rooms Have a layover?
We offer special rates at over 200 airports for day stays between the hours of 0800 and 1900. All hotels offer full service amenities, services, and free transportation. All of our hotels offer either 1 or 2 beds - special family rates may also be available for your stay. In addition, many of our hotels offer business center services.

Airport Facilities Facilities available at the airport include three banks, bureaux de change, ATM machines, a post office, two pharmacies, shops, restaurants, bars, nurseries and a medical service centre in Terminal 1.
Disabled Facilities The airport is fully wheelchair accessible and all the airlines can provide wheelchairs upon request.
Business Facilities The airport has two business lounges in Terminal 1 (with fax and telephone) and one in Terminal 2. There are six VIP lounges. Iberia has a business lounge in Terminals 1 and 2. The Chamber of Commerce & Industry has a small office in Terminal 1 (tel: 91 305 8807, open 0800-2100) and a meeting room for eight people with a photocopier, fax and phone available for a fee.
Car Rental Rental companies include Budget, Europcar, National, InterRent and Hertz.
Car Parking Long and short-term car parking is provided with reserved spaces for disabled travellers.
Driving Directions Access to the airport is from the N11 (and then take the N100) or from the A10.
Public Transport & Taxis The taxi journey (journey time: approximately 20-30 minutes) costs about Pta2000, including a Pta300 airport charge. The yellow airport bus (tel: 91 401 9900 or 431 6192) departs every 15 minutes for the underground bus Terminal at Plaza de Colón (a 30 minute journey). The new Barajas metro (line 8) provides a fast route into central Madrid, via Mar de Cristal. There is a rail information desk available at the airport.
