Day Rooms Have a layover?
We offer special rates at over 200 airports for day stays between the hours of 0800 and 1900. All hotels offer full service amenities, services, and free transportation. All of our hotels offer either 1 or 2 beds - special family rates may also be available for your stay. In addition, many of our hotels offer business center services.
Information and help desks There are information counters in the Arrivals and Departures halls and boarding lounge, and a tourist information counter in the Arrivals hall, open 0600-0200. Airport information phones are located throughout the Departures Terminal.
Airport Facilities Facilities include a bank and 24 hour bureaux de change, a post office, first aid and ATMs. There are 24 hour restaurant facilities, duty-free and other shops (but no pharmacy). A VAT refund desk is at the boarding lounge next to gate 17, open 0700-0130, and an insurance desk is at the check-in area, open 0700-2000. Lost and found is at the baggage claim area and baby care is available close to the bus gate (south) and the Arrivals concourse.
Disabled Facilities There is ramped access, adapted telephones and toilets for disabled passengers; wheelchairs can be provided by airlines and airline staff can also help passengers with wheelchairs clear customs and immigration.
Business Facilities Lounge Icaro and Ulisses (tel: 21 841 3500/5420, fax: 21 841 3585) can provide basic facilities including internet, payphone and fax. A meeting room is also available (tel: 21 841 3500).
Car Rental Rental companies include Avis (tel: 21 8435 550), Europcar (tel: 21 8401 176) and Hertz (tel: 21 8438 660). Car Parking There are various short and long-term parking options. P1 provides parking for up to 12 hours although P1 is temporarily closed. P2 is a parking garage with direct access to the Terminal and P3 is a long-term open air car park. Disabled spaces are available. The short and long-term car parks are located to the right of the Terminal as you drive into the airport. The indoor car park is at Arrivals.
Public Transport & Taxis The CARRIS AeroBus departs every 20 minutes, 0700-2100, to the city centre (journey time: 20 minutes) and the Cais do Sodré rail station. Tickets can be purchased on board and are valid on the same day for any other ride within the bus and tram network. Local buses 5, 8, 22, 44 and 83 operate, 0600-2130, and bus no. 45 runs until 0115. Taxis are available 24 hours a day.
