Directions:
Getting to the airport is easy to get to from most anywhere in Southwestern Ontario. The main access routes are Highway 403 which runs from Hamilton to Brantford to Woodstock, and Highway #20 which is accessed from the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) between Stoney Creek and Hamilton. No matter where you are, "trailblazing" signs throughout the Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth quickly and effectively identify the best route to get to the airport. Hamilton Jetport is the newest FBO to locate at YHM. Constructed in 1997, Jetport specializes in handling very high-end corporate jet customers. With a 32,000 square foot heated hangar, Jetport can accommodate some of the largest corporate jets in production today and is a Transport Canada approved maintenance organization. Jetport has been host to many dignitaries and famous personalities including Luciano Pavarotti and Dave Thomas (of Wendy's fast service restaurant fame). Although Jetport offers an excellent variety of corporate aviation services and customer amenities, including AirBP jet fuel, many regular pilots and employees at YHM know that the best part of Jetport is its in-hangar, 24-hour Tim Horton's coffee and baked goods outlet!
