Information and help desks
Airport Information desks are located in Terminal 1, hall B, at the Arrivals and Departures counters, and in Terminal 2 level 2, halls D and E (central area), next to Arrivals.

Airport Facilities
Numerous banks, bureaux de change and cash dispensers are available in both Terminals and in the Frankfurt Airport Center (FAC1). The airport facilities (mostly located in Terminal 1) include post offices, pharmacies, a medical clinic and dentist, and a vast number of shops, restaurants and bars. 3C Communications provide 24 hour credit card phones and faxes, plus internet access. Both Terminals have an Airport Gallery featuring exhibitions on aviation, travel and art.

Disabled Facilities
Facilities for disabled passengers include automatic doors, adapted telephones and toilets. GSL provides a paid porter assistance service for wheelchair users and requests that porters are booked one hour in advance (tel: 69 690 66666). There is an arrival service for wheelchair users (tel: 69 690 71276) and Kaster transport company offers a transport service for disabled travellers (tel: 60 74 814544).

Business Facilities
The airport conference centre (tel: 69 690 70501) in FAC1 offers 28 conference rooms, audiovisual equipment, internet access, secretarial services, interpreters and office supplies. There are also meeting rooms for hire in Terminal 2. Many of the major airlines have executive lounges and the airport's ECC Lounge, located beneath the Sky Line station at Terminal 1, is open to all passengers for a fee.

Car Rental
Car hire is available from Alamo, Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt offices in each Terminal.

Car Parking
There is a car park with direct access to each Terminal; car parks and Terminals are also linked by the Sky Line shuttle service. Disabled spaces are available in front of Terminal 1 (hall A, Departures level) and the car park close to Terminal 1 offers long-term parking spaces for disabled drivers. In Terminal 2 disabled spaces are available on level U4, row 17 (follow signage P8), with good lift/level access to the Terminals (tel: 69 690 78887).

Driving Directions
There is a comprehensive autobahn (motorway) network with easy access to and from the airport. The A3 and the A5 border the airport's eastern and northern boundaries to meet up at the Frankfurter Kreuz junction.

Public Transport & Taxis
City train S8 runs to Frankfurt's main station (Hauptbahnhof) every 15 minutes (journey time approx. 12 minutes) from platforms 1-3 of Frankfurt airport station. Staff assist wheelchair users. There is also an S8 city train every 30 minutes, 0544-0044, to Mainz and Wiesbaden, and 0448-0018, to Offenbach/Hanau; regional express trains serve many other destinations. ICE, InterCity and Eurocity trains to national and international destinations depart from platforms 4-7 of the new AIRail Terminal; high-speed night trains depart from platform 3. Most buses arrive and depart from outside the Arrivals halls at Terminal 1 including bus 61 for Frankfurt Südbahnhof. Taxis are readily available outside both Terminals; the journey to the city centre costs about DM40 and takes 20 minutes in normal traffic.
