Calgary International Airport
Information and help desks Information booths are located on the airport's Departures level (tel: 403 735 1449) and Arrivals level (tel: 403 735 1372); in the summer months a tourism service is also available. Over 25 computer Terminals, located throughout the airport, comprise an interactive visual information system (ePort) providing email, fax and internet services as well as direct telephone connections to hotels and transportation companies and some Calgary tourist attractions. Volunteers in white stetsons and red vests are available to assist travellers.
Airport Facilities Airport facilities include ATMs, currency exchange, mobile phone rental, kids play area, a post office, fax and photocopying, travel insurance, baggage storage, massage and medical clinics, a chapel, pet exercise area and smoking lounges.
Disabled Facilities The airport is fully physically accessible and TTY telephones are provided for the disabled traveller.
Business Facilities These are located at the Delta Calgary Airport Hotel which is connected to the Terminal by a covered walkway (tel: 403 291 2600 or 1 800 368 1133 toll free); they are also available in the Air Canada and Canadian First Class lounges.
Car Rental Avis (tel: 1 800 879 2847 toll free), Dollar (tel: 1 800 800 4000 toll free), Hertz (tel: 1 800 263 0600 toll free) and Budget (tel: 1 800 268 8900 toll free) are all on-site and can be telephoned toll free.
Car Parking Short and long-term parking is available. Long-term parking is less than a kilometre away from the Terminal, Park & Jet and Park 'n Fly car parks are connected to the Terminal by a shuttle bus service and Parkade (maximum one day stay) is connected to the Terminal by a covered walkway.
Driving Directions To get to the city centre take 96 Avenue NE and turn on to Highway 2 North; go south on the Highway (on Deerfoot Trail) until 16th Avenue (the Trans Canada Highway); go west on 16th Avenue until you reach Centre Street which you can follow south into the city centre. It is also possible to go south on the Barlow Trail until it reaches Memorial Drive; follow Memorial Drive west (towards Vancouver) and turn south (towards the city centre) on Centre Street.
