Information and help desks
Airport information counters are in the Arrivals and Departures halls of the international and domestic Terminals. The Tourist Authority of Thailand counter is located in the shared arrivals hall of international Terminals 1 and 2.

Airport Facilities
Various restaurants and fast food outlets offer a wide variety of international cuisine; gift and souvenir shops, a duty-free shop, smoking rooms and two VAT refund counters are available in the international Terminal. Currency exchange counters and ATMs can be found throughout the Terminals and the Thai Military Bank also offers foreign currency exchange; the Bangkok Public Bank is located on the 2nd floor of the northern part of international Terminal 2. There is a 24 hour medical emergency clinic on the ground floor of the international Terminal near Arrivals and two other medical rooms exist in Terminal 2 and the domestic Terminal, open until 1500, (tel: 2 535 113/1755). A postal service is available at the airport.

Disabled Facilities
Facilities for disabled travelers include lifts, accessible toilets and an electric car for transport around the Terminals. Car parking for disabled travelers is available.

Business Facilities
The airport has a business centre providing telephone, fax, computers and meeting rooms in the transit/transfer centre of international Terminal 1 (tel: 2 535 3711 extn. 44). There are telecommunications centres in Terminal 2 and at the Terminal 1 post office. Internet services are provided in Terminal 1 and in the business passenger lounge.

Car Rental
Avis have a counter in international Arrivals. Other companies have desks in the domestic Terminal Arrivals area.

Car Parking
Three car parks are available: in the basement of international passenger Terminal 1, in a seven story car park next to international Terminal 2 and in a three story car park in front of the domestic Terminal. Parking for disabled travelers is available.

Driving Directions
The main road linking the airport to central Bangkok is the Vibhavadi Rangsit Road although faster toll-motorways exist.

Public Transport & Taxis
Pre-paid airport taxi vouchers can be purchased from the Thai Airways counter, or licensed and metered city taxis (with black-and-yellow, not black-and-white, plates) can be flagged down outside Departures. The journey to central Bangkok, or your hotel, can take anything from 30 to 90 minutes. Air-conditioned Airport Buses on 4 routes leave regularly from the front of the airport (0500-0000) and go direct to many hotels. There is also a Thai Airways bus which goes only to the Asia Hotel. Regular public buses, some air-conditioned, on various routes can also be caught from the road in front of the airport. Trains run to Bangkok, 0606-2007, from Don Muang Station which is opposite the airport and connected to it by a walkway bridge. A limousine service counter is available in the Arrivals hall of Terminals 1 and 2.
